Twitter which is now X will soon only have dark mode. As of now, it offers multiple backgrounds.
Millions of Twitter users can look forward to more than just the name change. Elon Musk has joined the discussion about whether light mode or dark mode is better. And it looks like Twitter will be using the dark mode soon.
The technocrat told a user who asked if it would be a black tick or a blue tick in the future that the platform will soon only have dark mode. Not only that, but he also said that there were many ways in which dark mode was better.
“This platform will soon only have a “dark mode. Musk wrote back to the user that it was better in every way. Musk’s latest words got a lot of responses on Twitter. Many of them talked about how reading white text on a black background can be hard on the eyes.
Some of the users even asked Musk to keep the light mode as an option even if the platform switched to dark mode forever. The new dark mode seems to fit in with the redesign of the image and the way it looks.
This may be good news for people who like everything dark, but others may not like it. As of right now, Twitter has different backgrounds, like “Dim,” which has dark blue and grey choices, “Light,” which is brighter, and “Lights Out,” which is completely black.
On the night of July 24, Twitter changed its name to X. This came after the Android app for the site also got a new name. The change hasn’t happened to the iOS app yet, but it’s likely to happen soon.
